About me
My chapbooks are: A Woman's Heart and Carry Me Back, A Woman's Life in Poetry.* I've been a featured reader at many venues - libraries, churches, organizations and featured poet in many Voices of Poetry events on and off Cape Cod. I'm a member of the Scargo Hill Poets and on the Board of the Cape Cod Writers Center. (I have info about the 2025 CCWC Writers Conference in the first weekend in August.) I've been interviewed on cable tv stations, several of which are posted on my website, and for Books and the World a division of the Cape Cod Writers Center. I've won many prizes and honors for my poetry, including WOMR's Outermost Poetry Contest in 2014 and 2021, judged by Marge Piercy, as well as the Katherine Lee Bates Poetry Contests, and Veterans For Peace. I've been published in over 20 publications nationally and internationally. My play: A Woman's Heart was produced six times on Cape Cod and is completely constructed from my poetry. *My newest compilation is entitled Passion & Provocation, Selected Poems by Judith Partelow published in March 2024 by Atmosphere Press and available from me here at the Salem Festival.
