My name is Kai; I am a 26 year old queer poet from Brockton, Massachusetts with over a decade of freelance writing experience; a multi-time Boston Poetry Slam slam winner, one time Brockton Poetry Series slam winner, and all-around linguistics loving geek. At my home slam, The Boston Poetry Slam at the Cantab Lounge, I received my most coveted nickname; The Cantab Gamer, for my fascination with all things retro, weird, wacky, and completely mundane-- most known for all of the funky ways to say "I love you", and an ode to my favorite Legend of Zelda speed-runner.
