About me
Heather Wright is a poet, essayist, and educator raised in the US South who now lives on the North Shore of Boston. She currently attends the MFA poetry program at Boston University with a deferred PhD acceptance to UMass Amherst fall ’25. She is a recent graduate of the English literature program at Salem State University where she served as the managing editor of Soundings East literary journal and complete a combined BA/MA. Her chapbook Tropicana highlights dual regionality and constructions of social class in salon work. You can find her work in The Brooklyn Rail, Molecule and The Gloucester 400+ Project.
