About me
Julia Thacker's collection, TO WILDNESS, winner of the 19th Anthony Hecht Poetry Prize, was published in 2025 by Waywiser Press. Her poems have appeared in Bennington Review, The Massachusetts Review, The New Republic and Poetry International. Twice a fellow of the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, she has also received fellowships from the Radcliffe Institute and the NEA. In 2024, she was an Edith Wharton Writer-in-Residence at The Mount. She lives in Arlington, Massachusetts.
